What Can You Get from a Nintendo Wii Video Game Console?

Frankly speaking, it is definitely the features that make Nintendo Wii video game console a rock star on the gaming market. What is actually lies inside the Wii?
Nintendo Wii console contains some internal features made available from its hardware and firmware components. The hardware allows extendibility through expansion ports, while the firmware can stay up-to-date by receiving periodic updates via the WiiConnect24 service.
This game console also has great menus that give contribution to the success of Nintendo Wii. The top level menu interface has four pages with 4 by 3 grid, where each page displays the current time and date. Channels are displayed in grid, and navigated using the Wii remote controller. The good thing is that the grid is customizable, so users can move channels amongst the 47 customizable slots. But this is not possible with the Disc Channel, though.
There are three main categories for the channels on Nintendo Wii; pre-loaded channels, additional channels, and the downloadable channels. The pre-loaded channels are divided again into several channels; the Disc channel, Photo channel, Wii Shop, the Mii, the News, and the Forecast. With these channels you can play Wii and GameCube games, view photos, create and avatar, download games, and even listen to some news and weather forecasts.
The next channel category is the Additional Channels, in which there are the Mario Kart, Wii Fit, Band Brothers DX Speaker Channel, the Wii Speak, and the Daigasso! You can install the Mario Kart channel, Wii Fit Channel, chat online, and connect a game to a Nintendo Wii video game console with these channels.
Last but not least is the Downloadable channel of Nintendo Wii video game console, where you have the internet, the Everybody Votes, the Nintendo Channel, the TV Friend, the Digicam Print, the Check Mii Out/Mii Contest, and the Fortune Telling Channel. Thus, with these channels, you’ll be able to surf the net, watch videos, share Miis, vote in some polls, import digital photos, check out the TV programs, and view fortunes. How cool is that!
